Player Data

Shafiqullah is a right-handed batsman who occasionally keeps wickets for his team. He made his List-A debut against Denmark at Vanderbijlpark in April 2009.

Shafiqullah was a crucial member of Afghanistan side which was promoted to Division Two and allowed them to take part in the 2009 ICC World Cup Qualifier where they qualified for One Day International status and first-class status. He made his ODI debut against Netherlands during their tour of Netherlands in 2009. He played in the final of 2009 ACC Twenty20 Cup which Afghanistan won by 8 wickets. The right-hander made his Twenty20 International debut against Ireland during the 2010 Quadrangular Twenty20 Series in Sri Lanka in February. He was selected later for the 2010 ICC World Twenty20 Qualifiers where Afghanistan won the tournament and qualified for the 2010 ICC World Twenty20.
