Player Data

Lachlan Stevens is a left-arm orthodox spinner and a left-handed batsman who came up the ranks to represent South Australia. He moved to Adelaide after being brought up in Queensland. A stint at the academy as a high performance co-ordinator brought him back to Brisbane where he eventually made his Pura Cup debut in 2004-2005. Stevens scored his first century against Western Australia at the Gabba and was also part of the Australian youth team in 1997-98. However, he ended up losing his contract in the eventual year after having a mediocre season. Taking the place of Mickey Arthur, Stevens was named the head coach of Western Australia and Perth Scorchers in November 2011.
